Daily Blog, August 25th

Come rain or shine, shirts are our priority. While trying to stay dry this week, we’ve been busy on the production floor here at BKNY.  We got a chance to use some of our novelty inks in the forms of suede puff and  gel, also a job or two with foil. We’ve got “Making Cash Money” by vault, Bonafide Icon with multiple 2 color designs, and Dream Cloth.

Staple Design [Inside BKNY]

Posted by chuk in Untagged

BKNY Printing was honored to produce a brand aimed at positive social contagion.  With each order processed, we literally, witnessed history in the making. This particular collection was aimed to reflect the current economic crisis through fashion.

DEADPres began the start of production with significant icons symbolically illuminating the downfall of the global economic system.  This job was printed in Water base discharge  -Cyan, Magenta, Process Yellow on Black tees.

Stay Gold, an order reflecting the true essence of currency, was vividly printed through standard 4 Color Process, the true essence of full color graphics.

Continuing with a positive social contagion was the order Pantone which, in layman’s terms, explains the lifestyle of an artist: art, imagination, and $$ to create a Staple in fashion. This design purposely replicated the color scheme of cash money.

The finale of the summer line was completed with the Staple Edition of the classic board game, Monopoly. With a genius design and a message that says it all, Jeff Staple is here to shut it down…..GAME OVER!!

Relabeled, packaged, and ready to ship, history and a positive social contagion has been brought to you through genius minds and an amazing collaboration by Staple Design and BKNY Printing.

Heat-wave First week into July

Posted by chuk in Untagged

First off BKNY Printing is giving thanks to our clients that stuck it out
with us thru this first Major Heat Wave -Summer of 2010 We came back on Tuesday day after the 4th of July weekend dealing with
breakdowns thru out the shop due to extreme heat.  We was concerned for our production team safety so We shut down production
on Tuesday mid-day during to extreme heat The following day we picked up more fans and then the office A/C breaks
down.  Most of our computer systems Crashed due to extreme heat.

The screen dept went down a few hours and we smiled and kept it moving.  The
distractions set us back a few days on production but we kept it cool and we
kept on printing.

Check out a glimpse at what we printed this week
